New features in this update

  • Show approval workflow step result in front-end
Discover an important improvement in the invoice log. By distinguishing between the invoice log and the new overview “Approval Decisions,” it is now much easier to see what happened overall to an invoice and limited to the approval flow. From an audit perspective, this provides a better understanding of what happened at which stage for an invoice.
  • Performance improvements PO API
We have completed a significant performance upgrade on the PO API (Application Programming Interface), allowing quicker ingestion of the files being posted from the ERP system towards our platform.
  • Allow vendor-based automation via vendor API
As a follow-up of last month’s automation release for step 4 (invoice validation), we have added the ability to determine in the VMD interface if you would like to have automated processing for certain vendors as a characteristic you can manage in the ERP system.
  • Include a hyperlink to the invoice approval page in the approval notification email
We have added the ability to see what invoices need to be approved in the approval workflow notification email. Besides that, we also allow you to click on the invoice giving you a direct hyperlink to that specific invoice. Keep in mind, you need to log in to the system, so this hyperlink works.
  • Set default cost center and project
Now there is an extended ability to set default cost centers and project codes for certain invoice line types. For instance, this will allow you to select a default cost center for all your transport cost lines for a particular company code.
  • Allow a smooth transition between the old and new invoice processing modules on purchase order selection
We have invested in a feature that makes the transition from the old invoice processing module to our newest module easier for our existing clients.

For partially invoiced POs, we are now restricting the ability to over-invoice partially invoiced POs that were already consumed in the old module. This feature enables a smoother transition between the old and the new module.
  • Extend the AR invoice log pages
We have extended visibility of the invoice’s log in the debtor screens. Besides the payment overviews, we have added this to the invoice overview itself. This feature makes first glance log analysis much friendlier for our end users.
  • Add UNSPSC code to the Ariba export
We have broadened the Ariba export to include the UNSPSC code logic.
  • Add UNSPSC as robot action
With the upgrade of the Ariba export, we also invested time in our proprietary “exporting robots.” We can now set logic to take the UNSPSC field improperly mapped by a supplier and create robot actions to remap this to the actual field for the Ariba export. This upgrade gives us the ability to deliver the desired value in the desired field, even if the supplier is not able to properly map it.
  • “Back to cockpit” is missing in debtor
It was not intuitive to navigate from our debtor front end within the Accounts Receivable solution to the other modules. We have added a home button to improve the navigation experience for our clients.

Bug fixes in this update

  • PO interface not saving GL info from inbound PO
In the Purchase Order API, we have implemented the solution’s ability to start storing the General Ledger account associated with a PO line. This feature can be helpful for clients that want to determine the General Ledger account based on the PO line stemming from the ERP system.
