New features in this update

  • Improved Return to Vendor process
We have added further automation into our Return to Vendor rejection feature. Now, by selecting the RTV rejection reason(s), we auto-populate the supplier’s email addresses with a default per vendor if provided in the Vendor Master Data interface.
  • Extended reporting capabilities on performance metrics
For our premium reporting solution, we have taken further steps in allowing analysis of throughput times in our invoice automation processes. This extension permits us to do future process mining activities on automation steps: AP processing steps and workflow actions.
  • UI/UX improvement in the Cevinio header
We are implementing a new logic on our solution header that allows us to easily maintain our clients’ logos and make the navigation back to the cockpit more intuitive.
  • Make it configurable if a correction line is automatically proposed or not
One of our features is the ability to add a correction line after the accounting robot process. This property can be helpful if the standard OCR has found total amounts, but the line creation by the robot originates a rounding difference. While it always helps to further automate these small differences, it clashes with some of our premium OCR solutions. Therefore, we have now added the ability to deactivate this feature.
  • Additional self-learning ability to total amount recognition
We have implemented additional smartness in the AI’s ability to recognize the total amount on an invoice. We are now investigating which one is the most likely VAT amount by combining Machine Learning into the AI algorithms to improve the potential for total amount recognition.
  • More warnings when applying filtering on the invoice scan batch details page
We added an exception if a user is not filtering on any invoice statuses, making it more transparent for the users on why results are not presented.
  • Mapping for subcategory in the PO API available
Our PO API expands with the ability to store the subcategory. This upgrade helps in deriving the spend category of specific POs and hence, also the invoices.
  • Allow filtering on the cycle-count lists
For our cycle-count list, we have added the option to filter out goods with quantity 0 in stock. This feature makes it easier to only focus on the items that need to be reduced in quantity in stock.
  • Make it possible to decline or set an invoice back to concept
Invoices declined or routed towards status review are now available to set back to concept or to cancel. These options make it easier to continue the processing steps on these particular invoices.
  • UX improvement on VAT code drop down
The VAT code fields were not wide enough, making the selection of the correct VAT code sometimes cumbersome. These fields are improved.
  • Make it possible to save the remark when updating an invoice attribute
We made it possible to store the remark not only when updating the invoice status but also if a user updates an invoice attribute such as “on hold” or “urgent.”

Bug fixes in this update

  • Issue with the accounting period management resolved
For the accounting period management, we did not lock the potential deletion of an accounting period if it was used before. Now it is resolved.
  • Added ability to delete contract notifications
We have made it possible to delete notifications in the contract module.
  • Small bugfix on the debtor list
The debtor list did not represent the correct currency selected at the invoice creation stage. We fixed this issue.
