New features in this update
Invoice Tags now are available in the Cevinio APIs
Cevinio now offers the ability to assign tags to invoices. The “Invoice Tagging” feature enables managers to more effectively distribute the workload among agents and gain visibility on the workload per agent based on tags. With tags such as “Purchase users” and “Service invoices,” the workload can be separated and managed accordingly. The tag interface also allows consultants and clients to add or update tags in Cevinio.
Possibility to display invoices without assigned tags
The introduction of the “Invoice Tagging” feature has made it necessary to provide specific users with the ability to view invoices that do not have any existing tags. This feature ensures efficient classification and tagging of invoices as needed, preventing these users from being denied access to an invoice due to tag visibility rights.
Attachments have been made available for approvers in our accounts receivable module
Previously, debtor invoice attachments were visible to AR users but not to the invoice approvers on the approval pages. With the recent update, approvers now have access to the attachment data and can compare it with the invoice lines. They also have the option to download the attachments if needed, but they are unable to add or remove any attachments.
Our system supports various types of internal and external attachments in PDF format. These files will be included in the main invoice document. However, if users wish to attach other types of external documents, they will need to convert them to PDF format before adding them.
Possibility to set certain suppliers as freight vendors in the creditor settings menu
Before, Cevinio could not differentiate the creditor per PO line, as we worked with the header level creditor. With this improvement we can allow certain suppliers to have one or several freight companies which are then open for selection of certain lines of the PO. You will be only able to select allowed freight companies in the creditor settings.
Cevinio upgrade allows you to set the roles via API
We have implemented an extension to the Cevinio API which enables streamlined management of roles through API calls. This extension will facilitate Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), empowering administrators to define users’ system privileges based on their assigned roles. Cevinio can now seamlessly integrate with external client systems such as Azure AD, Workday, or various HR systems. As a result, we facilitate the automatic provisioning of users to their respective roles. With this new capability, role management can now be conveniently controlled via the API.
